I'm a photography student based in Norwich, England. I've been on photography courses since taking A level photography, but have been photographing almost my entire life. On family holidays, special occasions - and even when I was alone in my bedroom - I would be snapping away with my small point-and-shoot 35mm film camera, trying to capture some small detail that had drawn my attention. I grew up around cameras, living in a very artistic household that encouraged imagination and creativity, and received a new camera almost every Christmas until I reached my teenage years.
Recently, I have been working more professionally, trying to secure jobs and commissions from local businesses and companies. I've worked in many fields - as a nightclub photographer to pay the bills, an event photographer, a freelance promotions photographer, a behind-the-scenes photographer - but in my personal work I prefer to stick closely to editorial, documentary, travel and fine art photography. Whenever I can afford it, I travel; and whenever I travel, I photograph. I love to travel, and hope that one day I can say I have visited every country in the world.
My blog is a culmination of my thoughts, my journeys, and my work.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy creating it.
